To be able to access the Nightmare Zone you'll need to have completed at minimum five quests with boss fights in them. The minigame is also secure, and on death you'll never lose any item or statuses.
Nightmare Zone Modes
There are currently three modes in the Nightmare Zone:
Training, endurance and Rumble.
They can also run on "normal" game consoles, which allow players to fight their quest bosses while they are in the quest. Also, they can be played on "hard" where players are pitted against much tougher versions of these bosses.
Using hard mode provides more reward points than normal mode, meaning it can be worthwhile. Practice mode is not a way to earn points or experiences, and lets players pick one of their bosses to take on 1 on 1. The mode is rarely used but is used purely for entertainment.
Endurance Mode, a different one-on-one battle mode in which players face various waves of bosses, one after the next. You'll have to fight all of the bosses you've unlock in OSRS until you're defeated, or you defeat each boss and end the mode!
Lastly, there's Rumble. This is the most well-known mode. In Rumble you'll be facing several bosses at the same time Up to four bosses in one go. This mode does not end till the user dies or is removed from the fantasy.
In Rumble there are a variety of power-ups that appear randomly, which will give you significant bonuses like Recurrent Damage (which provides an additional hit) or Power Surge (which constantly recharges your attack).
Benefits from The Nightmare Zone
