How do I activate my Venmo Mastercard Debit Card?
You can activate your card in the Venmo app. Go to the “Cards” tab blobid0.png and check under the Venmo Debit Card section. Make sure to have your card with you when you are attempting to activate it.
Can I order more than one Venmo Debit Card? Can I add an additional card for someone else to my Venmo account?
The Venmo Debit Card links to your Venmo account. You can only have 1 active Venmo Debit Card associated with your Venmo account, and it must be in the name associated with the account.

Does it cost money to apply for the Venmo Debit Card?
No! There is no fee to apply for a Venmo Debit Card. However other fees may apply for use of the card.

How do I activate my Venmo Credit Card?
To activate your Venmo Credit Card, simply scan the QR code on the front of the card using your phone’s camera. You can also use the QR code scanner in the Venmo app. If you would rather activate by phone, call Synchrony Bank at 855-890-6779.
Expiring Venmo Debit Cards
Within 60 days of your current Venmo Mastercard® Debit Card’s expiration date, you’ll be notified in your Venmo app that it’s time to request a replacement. For example, those with a card expiring 12/21 will be prompted to order a replacement at the beginning of November (11/21). Please note, cards expire on the last day of the expiration month.
You’ll then be able to request your new card by tapping the in-app notification or going to the “Venmo Debit Card” section of the app.
If you haven’t used your current Venmo Debit Card, you may be prompted to complete a transaction before a new card can be issued.
If you’ve moved since receiving your most recent card, you can update your shipping address by tapping the pencil icon next to your address.
It’s important to activate your new card right away once it arrives. Replacement cards that are not activated within 90 days will be permanently closed. Once your new card is activated, the expired card should be destroyed.
How long will it take to get my Venmo Debit Card?
Once approved, your Venmo Debit Card should arrive within 15 business days. The card can only be sent to a home address at this time. If more than 15 business days have passed and you have still not received your card please contact here.
Where can I use my Venmo Debit Card?
Everywhere Mastercard is accepted in the U.S. and in U.S. territories. Please note Venmo and the Venmo Debit Card cannot be used with international merchants, even if you are placing an online order from the U.S.
