According to study results, a moral leader is one who supports their team members' creative endeavours and connects their ideas to the project's success. The most successful leaders in the construction sector are those that provide a supportive work environment where innovation is valued and team members may succeed. On the other side, benevolent leadership encourages the growth of team members while reaffirming commitment, deference, and debt.

The effects of benevolent and moral leadership on employee creativity have not been thoroughly investigated, despite the fact that most research have identified an association between authoritarian leadership and low productivity and employee innovation. In order to do this, the researchers looked at the connection between employee creativity in Pakistan's construction sector and the aspects of paternalistic and benevolent leadership. They also assessed how LMX affected the link between authoritarian and benign leadership styles. This research was conducted during the COVID-19 epidemic, which presented a significant obstacle for the building sector.

The research examined the connections between employee creativity and aspects of paternalistic leadership using a social exchange theory as a foundation. To achieve this, 297 prospective respondents who work for both private and public sector companies are given a survey questionnaire. PLS, or partial least squares structural equation modelling, was used to examine the answers. The LMX had a considerable impact on the linkages between the paternalistic leadership aspects, according to the findings. Additionally, the connection between the aspects of charitable leadership and worker creativity was considerably mediated by the LMX.

The LMX is regarded as a significant factor in fostering creativity in people. In addition to being the most evident, useful, and remarkable strategy, LMX plays a vital role in bridging the connection between charitable leadership and employee innovation. Authoritarian leadership, however, had no statistically significant effect on employee inventiveness, according to the research.

There was a substantial association between the two leadership styles even if the research did not discover a causal connection. The authors came to the conclusion that, compared to authoritarian leadership, LMX has a stronger favourable impact on benevolent and moral leadership styles.

The research, however, lacked adequate data on how LMX affected the link between authoritarian leadership and employee inventiveness. Furthermore, in conventional organisations, higher-level employees like authoritarian leadership styles more than lower-level workers do. However, the study's findings imply that LMX is a useful tool for fostering employee creativity.

Finding the leadership style that inspires workers to develop their creative pursuits is necessary for Pakistan's building sector. By gathering information from 288 individuals in the nation's construction sector, the research examined the connection between the LMX and employee inventiveness.
