Since Diablo 4 Gold announcement fans have been wary of the mobile title even at the best of times. After the release the announcement of Diablo 4 in 2018. some fans believed the idea of a phone-based Diablo game to be an untrue April Fool's prank in particular due to the fact that, back then, Diablo 4 had not yet been announced. But Blizzard was quick to prove that Diablo 4 was very much an actual game, with the game officially released for mobile and PC platforms just recently.

Since the launch of Diablo 4. fan fears have become real due to the fact that the game is constrained by microtransactions which could see players spending upwards of $100.000 and not fully being able to enhance their character. Because of the high cost of entry to Diablo 4. combined with being accused about the gameplay being entirely made up of a pay-to-win mechanism and that's why Blizzard's most recent release has received incredibly low scores from its user base.

Although the reaction to Diablo 4 has been positive while the game in general scoring a 79 out of Metacritic's critic score, the user scores are the area where Diablo 4 is getting review and slammed. In the past there was a time when the number of reviews from users was around 1600reviews, Diablo 4 had an overall score of 0.6 and was one of the lowest user scores for an Blizzard game. The game has officially gained the title of having the worst user rating on Metacritic and has received 2485 ratings, bringing the game's score down to 0.5.

This makes an unprecedented third Blizzard game in the span of years to have a score of below 1.0 according to Metacritic. Previously, the 2021 re-release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade also gained a score of 0.5. But, with just 371 user reviews for that game, it doesn't have similar negative reviews like Diablo 4's user score. The third Blizzard game to be awarded an average score of less that 1.0 had been Warcraft 3: Reforged, it was accused of lagging numerous features that were present in the first game.

Whether Blizzard will listen to the overwhelming negative reaction to Diablo 4 is unknown. The moment is when gamers and fans are pondering Blizzard developers like Game Director Wyatt Cheng on what improvements could be made to the game. Many have found Cheng's remarks that there is no way to rank gear through real money in Diablo 4 to be disingenuous as the game was released. One streamer has made the news by trying to locate gems within cheap Diablo IV Gold. and has already spent over $10.000 without finding a legendary gem with a 5 star rating showing how faulty the current system of loot can be.
